Thank you for using Biosonics.
We aim to launch an in vitro diagnostic product that can diagnose Alzheimer's dementia in the very early stages or earlier stage of mild recognition.
Using blood-based in vitro diagnostic devices has the advantage of being able to obtain high-accuracy Alzheimer's test results at a low price without side effects compared to conventional cerebrospinal fluid tests and PET tests. Specifically, the test cost will be around 100,000 to 200,000 won, and the test time will provide about 90% accuracy within an hour.
The total annual cost of managing dementia patients is expected to increase approximately eightfold from KRW 13.2 trillion (approximately 0.9% of GDP) in 2015 to KRW 106.5 trillion (approximately 3.8% of GDP) in 2050.
